1Who we are

Lendex ("we", "us") is a marketplace app that connects people who own units (apartments, villas, offices and similar) with people looking to rent, buy or invest. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

2Information we collect

• Account details: name, email address, phone / WhatsApp number and profile photo that you provide, or that Google or Apple share when you choose to sign in with them. • Listings and requests: descriptions, prices, locations, photos and videos you add when you offer a unit or submit a request. • Photos and camera: only when you choose to attach a photo or video. We never access your library in the background. • Reports: the reason and notes you send when you report a listing. • Basic technical data (such as app version and crash information) processed by our infrastructure provider to keep the service secure. We do not collect precise device location, contacts, or payment card details, and we do not use your data for advertising or sell it.

3How we use it

• To create and secure your account and sign you in. • To show your listings and requests to other users and to let owners and interested people contact each other. • To review listings and reports, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms. • To respond to your support requests.

4What other users can see

Your name, profile photo, and the phone / WhatsApp number you add to a listing are visible to other signed-in users on that listing, so that interested people can reach you. Only add contact details you are comfortable sharing.

5Service providers

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore and related services) to run the app. Sign in with Google and Sign in with Apple are provided by Google and Apple under their own policies. These providers process data only on our behalf and to provide their service.

6Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in Profile > Account & security > Delete account. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your listings and your requests. Limited records (for example reports about abuse) may be retained where needed for safety or legal reasons.

7Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your profile in the app, delete your account, and contact us to ask for a copy of your data or to correct it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under local data-protection law, including Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law.

8Children

Lendex is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete the account.

9Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is limited by authentication and access rules. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app. The date at the top shows the latest version.
